Kathrein France - Quality Policy

With over 90 years of experience in the field of antennas and associated systems, the company KATHREIN always wanted to meet the needs and expectations of its customers with products and services of high quality. That’s how we became the world leader of this sector with a presence on five continents today by its 61 subsidiaries representing 6700 employees in total including 1,800 in Germany and 4 manufacturing plants in Bavaria thereby perpetuating employment in Europe.

The integrated quality, environment and safety management is a further demonstration at the group level both internally and externally, of the strong commitment at the highest level in this matter. We are thus able to federate all our partners in the same direction of compliance with the ISO 9001-2008 requirements and of the dynamics of continuous improvement. Our QES system is a matrix and is composed, in addition to the headquarter, of some twenty subsidiaries of which the most representative including KATHREIN France.

Conscious of our role to play within the group on the one hand and the specific needs of our markets on the other hand, we have developed our QES system since 1997 leaned in that of the group which the objectives are declined in coherence within the overall strategy of the company. To do this, we have defined goals on seven main topics:

Mobilize all our resources to offer products and services ever more innovative and meeting the expectations and the needs of our customers to maintain our leading position in our business,

  • Customer satisfaction
     

Constantly adapt through an enhanced customer focus to new markets and needs including those we are dedicated to export, such as Sub-Saharan and North Africa and the Near East,

  • Quality product
     

Meet customer needs with products of good value for money,

  • Research and development
     

Spend 10% of our turnover in R & D focusing innovation & ethics,

  • Production
     

Rationalize the processes both internally and externally with our suppliers to increase our responsiveness and flexibility of our small structure,

  • Economic Sustainability
     

Ensure our viability in controlling costs and productivity and in fact, maintaining jobs,

  • Resources
     

Maintain a high level of qualification of staff speaking both internally in the inter-connections as to our external customers through relevant training.

 

All of these objectives are the responsibility of everyone in the company and not the mere fact of QES service that is responsible to lead the system and ensure its continuous improvement.
